Kerkis is a trading name, not yet a company. These terms are between you and [PROPRIETOR NAME], trading as Kerkis, of [ADDRESS FOR SERVICE]. Using this website means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

This page will name the limited company instead once it is incorporated, and the date above will say when that changed.

The scope check applies the tests in the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 to the figures you enter, and shows the reasoning it used. It is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the same result, and that reasoning is shown so you can check it rather than take it on trust.

It is a guide, not advice. Whether premises are in scope turns on facts we cannot see — how the premises are actually used, how many people are really expected, how the areas are counted. Responsibility for those judgements, and for meeting the duties, rests with the responsible person.

The duties under the Act are not yet in force. Commencement is expected in spring 2027 but has not been appointed by regulations, and the position may change before then.

The Home Office and ProtectUK publish guidance and templates at no cost, and you can meet these duties without buying anything from us or anyone else. We would rather say that plainly than have you find it out later.

Use the site for its purpose. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to disrupt it, to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or to use it to store or transmit anything unlawful.

We rate-limit requests to keep the service available. If you have a legitimate need to run a large volume of checks, ask us rather than working around it.

We welcome reports of security problems and will not pursue anyone who reports one in good faith. See the contact page for how to reach us, and please give us a reasonable period to fix an issue before disclosing it.

The guides, wording and design on this site are owned by [PROPRIETOR NAME]. You may read them, print them and quote them with attribution. You may not republish them wholesale as your own. Statutory text quoted here belongs to the Crown and is used under the Open Government Licence.

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, though we work at keeping it both.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on the scope check or on anything else here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

What we collect and why is set out in the privacy notice. In short: the sites and capacities you type stay in your browser, and we only receive an email address and estate totals if you ask us to send you the summary.

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the current version.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
