Kerkis is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@kerkis.co.uk.

Your email address and estate totals, only if you ask for the summary. We use them to send you that summary and to understand what kind of organisations find the tool useful.

Anonymous usage statistics. We count page views so we know which guides are worth writing more of. No cookie is set, no identifier follows you to another website, and nothing recorded picks you out — detail below.

Nothing else. There is no account, no advertising, and no third-party tracker. The site names and capacities you type are held in your browser only.

Consent. You give it by asking us to send the summary, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did beforehand.

Our hosting provider and our email provider, acting on our instructions and only to deliver the service. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing. Where a provider is outside the UK, we rely on the transfer safeguards the law requires.

Two years from your last contact with us, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it. Email hello@kerkis.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, served from our own domain rather than by a third party. For each page view it records the page, the referring site, an approximate country, and the browser and device type. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

It builds no profile of you, does not follow you to other websites, and gives us no way to connect a page view to a person — including to an email address you may have given us for a summary.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this needs no consent banner under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: understanding which pages are useful, using the least intrusive option that answers the question. You can object by emailing us, and most browsers' tracking protection blocks it already.

We set no cookies at all — not for the scope check, not for analytics, not for anything. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to, which is the reason we chose analytics that work without them.
